The Cavaliers absolutely smoked the Celtics, 116-86, in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals. The game was a blowout almost immediately, with the Celtics never really threatening to even cut the defecit to single digits from when the Cavs built their lead in the first quarter. Because the Celtics were sloppy with the ball and George Hill actually did something for once.

Celtics’ legend Bill Russell has brief hospital stay

Bill Russell — the 11-time NBA champion who was the anchor and heart of a Boston Celtics team that dominated an era — spent a brief time in the hospital Saturday with a heart scare. Russell, 84, was rushed to the hospital Friday night with what was thought to be a heart attack or other heart issue, something first reported by TMZ. Representatives of Russell later said the issue was dehydration.

LeBron James knows the odds are stacked against the Cavaliers. The Cavs are down 2-0 in the Eastern Conference finals to the Boston Celtics, who can take complete command of the series with a win in Game 3 on Saturday night. Although James has twice overcome 2-0 deficits to win postseason series, that doesn't make the challenge any easier.

NBA: World Peace – Durant not part of Warriors dynasty

Metta World Peace says Kevin Durant will not be part of the Golden State Warriors dynasty until he has won another two NBA titles. Durant was named NBA Finals MVP last year and claimed his first ring after the Warriors dethroned the Cleveland Cavaliers. The small forward has top-scored for the Warriors in both games of the Western Conference Finals series against the Houston Rockets which is tied at 1-1 as he strives to claim back-to-back titles.
