The 2008 Celtics reunited for Paul Pierce’s jersey retirement in Boston (except Ray Allen, who played golf)

Sunday at TD Garden was supposed to be a day to remember for Boston Celtics fans and franchise legend Paul Pierce, whose #34 jersey went up in the rafters before the Celtics matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Unfortunately, the day will be remembered much less for Pierce's jersey retirement and more for the new-look Cavs turning the corner and manhandling Boston, 121-99. Despite the blowout, it was still an incredible moment for Pierce, whose jersey will now hang alongside the likes of Larry Bird, Bill Russell and Bob Cousy.
